Our Role and Support

Our Role:

As an exchange visitor visa sponsoring organization, we take our sponsorship responsibilities very seriously. CHI Au Pair USA carefully follows mandated program requirements and our own quality control guidelines. We are committed to our au pairs and host families to make their intercultural exchange experience successful and rewarding.

From the day you apply, through the placement matching process, to your arrival day in the U.S., CHI Au Pair USA is always available to help guide you through a journey of a lifetime.

Our Support:

CHI Au Pair USA's strength lies in our program support network of dedicated and experienced local staff coordinators.

Au Pair Coordinator (APC) - The Au Pair Coordinator (APC) plays a significant role during your program year. She is available to provide support, advice and a smile. If you have program-related questions or concerns, the APC is the first person to contact. Of course, she would like to hear about your triumphs as well! On a monthly basis, your APC will contact you and your host family to check on adjustment issues, family dynamics and program progress. You APC also organizes regular social activities and events with other au pairs in your community.

Regional Au Pair Coordinator (RAPC) - RAPCs are in charge of specific CHI geographical territories in the U.S. They coordinate personnel and the au pair program within their region, and are the supervisory link between the Au Pair Coordinator (APC), the host family, au pair and the CHI Main Office. Their duties include hiring and supervising APCs, problem solving, implementing the overall program and representing CHI to the community.
