Au Pair Requirements
CHI Au Pair USA seeks enthusiastic au pair candidates who have the sincere desire to share their customs and culture with an American family. The right candidate is open-minded with a positive and adventurous attitude to complete a one-year work commitment.
In order for you to get the most benefit from this cultural exchange program, CHI Au Pair USA selects au pair candidates who go above and beyond the minimum requirements, which are:
• Be between 18 - 26 years old;
• High school graduate; some university education is preferred;
• English language fluency; minimum 500 TOEFL test score or equivalent English assessment test;
• Documented childcare experience; caring for a child under 2 years old, minimum 200 hours of recent documented infant
care is required;
• Pass a criminal background check and submit character references;
• Possess a valid driver's license;
• Physically and emotionally healthy.
