CHI Au Pair USA 2010 Traditional Au Pair Program Fees and Costs

 

Traditional Au Pair: A great program for families seeking full time live in child-care. Traditional Au Pairs can work up to 45 hours a week with children between the ages of three months and teenagers.

Educare Au Pair program: A part time option for families who love the Au Pair experience. Educare Au Pairs work up to 30 hours a week with school aged children. See separate pricelist.

 

Your program dollar goes a long way by having a screened, experienced and legal international au pair who brings cultural enrichment into your home.

Program Fees Include: Pre-screened au pair profiles for your review and selection; J-1 visa documentation; round-trip international airfare*, 12 months of medical insurance; au pair orientation and childcare safety training; host family orientation; program support, supervision and assistance.

* Please note that an international airfare surcharge of $350 will apply for au pairs from Australia and New Zealand.

Additional Costs: In addition to the program fee, additional costs required by the U.S. Department of State and CHI Au Pair USA include the au pair's:

- Domestic airfare to Host Family's city
- Weekly stipend of $195.75
- Educational component tuition of up to $500.00
- Automobile insurance coverage
- Private room and board

 

Discounts & Incentives
  If you fit any of the three categories below, you are eligible for an application fee waiver $200 off your program fee!

1. "Thanks for Switching to CHI." Families who have switched to CHI from any U.S-based au pair program and accept a CHI au pair within six months from their last au pair. Proof required.

2. Family-Arranged Au Pair Placement. Families who independently locate an au pair for themselves. The hosting family as well as the au pair must meet all program requirements, complete the application packet and attend all program orientations.

3. Repeat CHI Au Pair Families. Families, who have successfully completed one full year of the CHI Au Pair USA program and within six months of completion, accept another NEW CHI au pair.
