Dedicated Staff. CHI's hallmark is its experienced and well-trained field staff coordinators. Most field coordinators are parents themselves and believe in the ideals and value of an au pair program. Throughout the year, our coordinators are available to answer any of your questions and give you on-going program support.
Personalized Matching. We believe that by providing you the essential tools to make a knowledgeable au pair choice is the foundation toward making your program enjoyable. You are able to review and select from a diverse pool of thoroughly screened candidate profiles and make a final decision, as a family, in the comfort of your own home.
Orientations. We provide extensive program orientations for both you and the au pair. Our field staff conducts two host family orientations prior to the au pair's arrival and a post-arrival orientation to prepare you for year-long intercultural childcare experience. CHI also provides an intensive four-day training session for au pairs upon arrival in the U.S. The training cover topics such as first aid/CPR, child development, cross-cultural information and communication issues.
Legal Sponsorship. CHI Au Pair USA is an exchange visitor visa sponsoring organization. Every CHI au pair is issued a J-1 cultural exchange visa allowing them to provide your family with legal childcare services for 12 months.
