In Their Own Words
CHI's Au Pairs come from six continents and over 25 different countries. They come from a variety of different backgrounds and most speak more than three languages. Some come from countries that are just beginning to open up to the developed world, while others come from heavily industrialized countries. One might be one of seven children while another is an only child. Many are traveling for the first time when they come to the USA. The one thing they have in common is a love of children. As each culture and each person is so unique, we realized that the best way to introduce you to these cultures is to let the Au Pairs take over.
